The group exhibition Symptoms of Society, curated by Alenka Gregorič, is opening at the Zhejiang Art Museum in Hangzhou, China. The exhibition will be on display from 10 November to 3 December 2017. Its focus is on the presentation of artworks from various generations, countries and media. During the preparation of the exhibition a larger set of topics developed which address numerous questions of the contemporary society – the city and its urban development, national art histories, “common” art systems and history, territories, etc. Selection of works aims to present a comprehensive image of the region to the Chinese audience. Alongside works of internationally renowned artists it also shows works of younger artists from the region.
